What glass does it suit?

8mm, 10mm or 12mm glass. The flush barrel detail is for 10mm glass only.

How does the magnetic latch work?

The latch bolt stays hidden inside the body until the door closes - a magnet in the strike draws it out, giving a near-silent, soft close. Tested to 200,000 cycles.

Key to key or thumb turn?

Choose at checkout - key to key (lockable both sides) or thumb turn to key (thumb turn inside, key outside).

Can I change the handing?

Yes. Standard order is DIN right; to change to left, turn the lock body 180°.

What strike do I need?

For glass to a timber or metal frame, use the magnetic strike plate - surface mounted or milled into the frame. For glass to glass, choose the strike box option.

How to fit your magnetic latch set (glass to frame)

1 · Choose your options

Key to key or thumb turn to key, with strike plate (frame) or glass strike box.

2 · Order the glass cut-outs

See glass cut out details.

3 · Fit the latch & handles

Fit the latch body, fix the euro cylinder with an M5 x 35mm screw only, then fit the handles and tighten the plastic rose with the plastic driver.

4 · Fit the strike plate

Surface fix the 82.5 x 22mm strike plate to the frame (2 x countersunk screws, not supplied), or mill it in (approx. 46.5mm slot, 13.5mm deep).

5 · Adjust

Check alignment with the latch and adjust the spring tension screw if needed.
