How to use the single glazed door frame wood insert

1 · Check if you need it

Use the wood insert when side-hung hinges are surface mounted onto a QIC single glazed door frame.

2 · Cut to length

Cut the insert to the height of the hinge leg of the frame.

3 · Fit into the frame

Push the timber insert into the frame section on the hinge side so it sits behind the hinge positions.

4 · Fix the hinges

Mark the hinge positions, pilot drill through the aluminium and screw the hinges through the frame into the timber insert.
