    How do I fix it to glass?

    Use 3M VHB double sided adhesive tape (available separately). One roll is enough for up to 11 lengths of flat bar.

    What colour is it?

    All aluminium flat bar in this range is powder coated RAL 9005 black.

    How to create a crittall-style band

    1 · Plan the layout

    Mark the band positions on the glass. Fit bars after the partition is glazed so lines run true to the head and base.

    2 · Cut to size

    Cut the 25 x 1.6mm bar to length with a fine-tooth blade (workable length 3000mm) and de-burr the ends.

    3 · Prepare surfaces

    Clean the glass and the back of the bar so both are dry and grease-free. 3M VHB bonds best at 21-38°C.

    4 · Apply tape

    Run 3M VHB double sided tape along the back of the bar (one roll does up to 11 x 3m lengths).

    5 · Bond

    Peel the liner, align to your marks and press firmly along the full length. Repeat on the other face of the glass if the band should show from both sides.
