Type GL drylining profiles are specialist end cap trims designed to create clean, professional end details for plasterboard walls. These pre-punched aluminium edge profiles provide secure fixing with diagonal slots.

How to fit Type GL partition end cap

1 · Choose your size

Match the wall width: GL6 = 75mm, GL5 = 100mm, GL4 = 122mm, GL7 = 132mm.

2 · Board the wall

Board both faces of the partition. The trim must be backed by plasterboard - never fixed directly to the stud.

3 · Fit the end cap

Slide the GL over the end of the partition so the tape-and-joint edges lap both board faces, and fix through the pre-punched diagonal slots in the plastering fin with standard drywall screws.

4 · Finish

Tape and joint both edges, skim and decorate for a clean end detail.
