The Type E-FLEXI trims are used in conjunction with 12.5mm plasterboard where a raised or recessed feature is required. Suitable for both wall and ceiling applications, this flexible version of the rigid Type E trim is supplied in straight lengths for curving on site and can be formed to convex radii as small as 200mm.

Is it a stock item?

No - these are not a standard stock item. Lead time is usually 3-5 days and you will be advised of the lead time when you order.

Can I get a different colour?

Yes. Other RAL colours and finishes are available on request. Email sales@qic-direct.com with the colour you need and we will confirm price and lead time.

How to fit Type E Flexi

1 · Choose your size

E4, E9, E12, E15, E19 or E25 Flexi to suit the depth of the raised or recessed feature.

2 · Form the curve

Bend the trim by hand to the curve on site - it can be formed to concave or convex radii as small as 200mm.

3 · Fix

Fix to the edge of the 12.5mm plasterboard and fix through the pre-punched diagonal slots in the plastering fin with standard drywall screws, at every pre-punched slot around the curve.

4 · Finish

Tape and joint over the plastering fin, skim and decorate.
