What doors does this suit?

Glass doors 10mm to 12.8mm thick, and timber doors - a longer fixing bolt is included.

What drilling do I need?

See glass cut out details. For timber doors, drill straight through the door at 500mm centres.

How are the handles fixed?

The pair is fitted back to back - one handle each side of the door - joined through the holes and locked with hidden grub screws, so there are no visible fixings.

Will the metal touch the glass?

No. Glass protection gaskets/sleeves are supplied so the handle never sits metal-to-glass.

Can I fit them to a timber door?

Yes - a longer fixing bolt is included for timber doors. Drill straight through the door at the same centres.

What does 'cranked' mean?

The bars are offset (cranked) from the glass fixings, giving more knuckle room and a strong architectural look.

How to specify and fit your cranked H pull handles

1 · Plan the position

Decide which leaf and edge the handles go on and mark the handle position on the door (or your glass drawing) - keep clear of patch fittings, locks and any manifestation.

2 · Drill or order the holes

Timber door: drill straight through the door at 500mm centres. Glass door: see glass cut out details.

3 · Fit the gaskets

On glass doors, push the protective sleeves into the holes and place the gasket washers/roses on each side.

4 · Fit back to back

Offer the fixed handle to one face, pass the fixing bolts through the door (use the longer bolt on timber doors) and locate the second handle on the other face.

5 · Tighten

Tighten evenly, then lock the hidden grub screws with the allen key. Don't overtighten - the gaskets should be snug, not crushed.
