The 100mm Door Frame kit is specifically engineered for a 50mm stud wall with 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard each side, providing a slim-profile, high-strength solution for standard office door openings. The kit includes machined recesses to accommodate precision-fit hinges and lock boxes, ensuring a professional finish for any office environment.

Like its larger counterpart, this frame is designed to wrap over the plasterboard and fix securely into timber or metal studs to ensure long-term durability.

How to fit your LS100 door frame kit

1 · Check the opening

Kit suits an 838 x 1981mm door in a 50mm stud wall with 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard each side. Box the opening studs with timber infill.

2 · Hand & cut the frame

The legs are mitred at both ends - decide the door hand, then trim the legs to height using the cutting sheet.

3 · Assemble

Join the head to the legs at the mitres and check the frame is square (measure corner to corner).

4 · Fix the frame

Offer the frame into the opening so it wraps over the plasterboard, then fix through into the timber-infilled boxed studs. Pack behind fixings so the legs stay straight.

5 · Hang the door

Fit the supplied hinges and strike box into the machined recesses and hang the door.
