The SKR Hook is a specialist hanging strip designed for use with SKR recessed skirting trims. This extruded aluminium hanging strip provides secure, hidden fixing for professional drylining installations.

How to fit SKR with hanging strips

1 · Order the right quantity

2 x 1250mm hanging strips per 3000mm length of SKR.

2 · Fix the strips

Fix the hanging strips to the wall/floor track at skirting height, level along the run.

3 · Hang the SKR

Hook the SKR's back lip over the hanging strips.

4 · Fix & finish

Screw the beaded top leg through the board, then tape and joint over the plastering fin, skim and decorate.
