No - 90° cleats are not suitable for use with base channel profiles.

Buying & Installation Guide

How to join head channels at 90°

1 · Check your profile

90° cleats suit SG03 and DG03 head channels only - not base channels.

2 · Cut the channels

Mitre both channels so they meet neatly at the corner.

3 · Fit the cleat

Slide one leg of the cleat into the cleat slot of each channel - no screws needed.

4 · Close up & fix

Butt the ends tight to form the corner, then fix the channels to the ceiling/wall as normal.
