Buying & Installation Guide

How to fit your edge trim LED profile (LED-04)

1 · Plan the run & power

Decide where the driver and power feed will sit and run the cable before boarding. Use LED-04 where a run of 12.5mm plasterboard stops - end of a wall, bulkhead edge or ceiling margin.

2 · Cut to length

Cut to length with a fine-tooth aluminium blade and de-burr the ends. Mitre internal and external corners for a neat return.

3 · Fix the profile

Butt the end of the board into the profile so the LED channel forms the finished edge, and fix through the pre-punched diagonal slots in the plastering fin with standard drywall screws.

4 · Tape & joint

Tape and joint over the plastering fin, then skim and decorate so the fin disappears into the wall. Keep plaster out of the LED channel.

5 · Fit LED tape & diffuser

Stick your LED tape into the 12.5mm-wide channel, connect to the driver, then push the opal diffuser into the channel.
