Make sure the structural opening is at least 5mm larger than the panel size, back of frame size. E.G a 600x600mm panel size requires a 605x605mmhole size. You don’t need to remove the door, just open the panel using the budget lock key provided, place the panel into the aperture. Tighten the FlipFix device via the fixing screw behind the door leaf to clamp on the back of the plasterboard (The FlipFix device covers boards from 8mm to32mm) Check the frame is square by measuring corner to corner. Lock the door in place; the door and frame should be flush. Sit back and relax, you’ve just saved yourself 20 minutes.

What sizes are available?

150 x 150mm, 200 x 200mm, 300 x 300mm, 450 x 450mm, 600 x 600mm, 900 x 600mm, 1200 x 600mm.

What size hole do I need?

Make the structural opening at least 5mm larger than the panel size (back of frame). E.g. a 600x600mm panel needs a 605x605mm hole.

Is it suitable for walking through?

No. This panel is for inspection use only and is not suitable for personnel access.

How is delivery charged?

Access panels are always shipped separately and their delivery charge is added on top of any other shipping in your order.

How to fit your Flipfix access panel

1 · Cut the opening

Make the hole at least 5mm larger than the panel (e.g. 605 x 605mm for a 600 x 600mm panel).

2 · Insert the panel

No need to remove the door - open it with the key provided and place the panel into the aperture.

3 · Tighten FlipFix

Tighten the FlipFix device via the screw behind the door leaf to clamp onto the back of the board (8-32mm).

4 · Square & lock

Check the frame is square corner to corner, then lock the door - door and frame should sit flush.
