        How to fit butt hinges

        1 · Mark out

        Mark the hinge positions on the door and frame (top, bottom and middle on fire doors).

        2 · Recess

        Cut the leaf recesses so the hinge sits flush.

        3 · Fix

        Screw fix with screws to suit the door's certification (intumescent pads on fire doors).

        4 · Hang

        Hang the door and check the gaps are even.
