Buying & Installation Guide

How to fit your LS401 headtrack (100mm system)

1 · Check the build-up

For the 100mm system: 50mm stud with 2 layers of 12.5mm plasterboard each side.

2 · Set out

Mark the partition line on the ceiling and check it is straight and square to the walls.

3 · Fix the headtrack

Fix the headtrack to the ceiling along the line, used with galvanised steel track and fixed at 600mm centres.

4 · Install studs & board

Stand the studs and slide the plasterboard up into the headtrack so the board edges sit neatly inside the profile.

5 · Joints

Butt lengths tight at joints - see the installation guide for joint and junction details.
